World Environment Day 2025 — A Step Towards a Greener Future! 🌱🌳

Today, we successfully planted 4,872 saplings using the Miyawaki Plantation Method as part of the Dhanushadham Wildlife Corridor initiative. This marks the beginning of a 10-day effort to plant a total of 20,000 saplings to restore natural habitats and support wildlife in the region. 🐾🌳

We are deeply thankful to the Divisional Forest Office, Department of Herbs, and our older Miyawaki sites for providing all the saplings. 🌱💚

🙏 Special thanks to:

1. Our community members
2. Students and staff
3. Board members and local leaders
4. The incredible support from Pipal Tree, LILY’S LEAVES and LA LOMELLINA.
5. And heartfelt gratitude to the inspiring sisters and teachers from Community Learning Centre and Jay Maa Laxmi Bipanna Barg Mahila Samuha.

Your dedication made this event—organized by Mithila Wildlife Trust—a great success! 💚🌿

Let’s continue to plant, protect, and preserve! 🌎🌱
