We are proud to announce the successful completion of a “5-day Snake Rescue and Management Training” in Dhanusha, organized by the Division Forest Office (Dhanusha) with technical support from Mithila Wildlife Trust.
Participants from Nepal Police, Armed Police Force (APF), and forestry officials received hands-on training in safely handling both venomous and non-venomous snakes, identifying different species, and responding calmly during rescues. Their enthusiasm, discipline, and eagerness to learn made the training highly effective.
Beyond skill-building, this training played a key role in spreading awareness about the ecological importance of snakes. It encouraged peaceful coexistence between communities and wildlife, reducing fear and promoting safety.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated trainers Dev Narayan Mandal (Founder & CEO, Mithila Wildlife Trust), Rohit Giri, and Subodh Acharya for their expertise and commitment to making this training a success!
Together, let’s continue working towards a safer and more wildlife-friendly world.
