ZSL Nepal and MWT Nepal signs agreement for Conservation Education in Extension Area of Parsa Wildlife Reserve

Mithila Wildlife Trust (MWT) Nepal and Zoological Society of London (ZSL) Nepal signed an agreement to work together for Conservation Education Program in the Extension area and Buffer Zone of Parsa Wildlife Reserve (PWR) in Bara District.
Facilitated by Respected Dr. Bhagwan Raj Dahal from ZSL, the Agreement signing ceremony was conducted in the office of Parsa Wildlife Reserve in presence of respected RD Forest, Dr. Akhileshwar Lal Karna, ZSL Country Director, Dr. Hem Sagar Baral, PWR Warden Sir, Nepal Army PWR base chief and Ex-warden PWR, Sh. Neelambar Mishra ji.
Focused on conservation education, community awareness activities and stakeholder’s interactions, MWT will work in the buffer zone and extension area of PWR in Bara district for One year.
Heartly thanks to everybody, specially to Regional Director, Dr. Akhileshwar Lal Karna, ZSL Country Director, Dr. Hem Sagar Baral, PWR Warden, Yuvraj Regmi and all well wishers of Mithila Wildlife Trust.
We promise to bring the change in attitude of the society towards wild animals and forest, as we did successfully in the buffer zone of Dhanushadham Protected Forest and to prepare a generation of Consrevation Agents through Eco-club and plantation activities in the schools.
