Dhanusha Protected Forest under reconnaissance biodiversity survey by MWT

To list out all species of flora and fauna, reconnaissance biodiversity survey is progressing inside the forest with the help of Dhanusha Forest Department. As there is no boundary or restriction in the entry of local peoples inside the forest, we have noticed lot of poachers in between also lot of illegal cut of Acacia sp. for timber purpose.

Though the area is blessed with plenty of water resource, forest and wild habitatĀ  is getting degraded day by day as no much precaution is done for last ten to twenty years. Recenty Forest Dept. and MWT initiated protection of this forest and now hopefully there will be a proper habitat growth and biodiversity population insude this forest patch. MWT and Forest officials are vigilant forĀ  twenty four hours for the protection of this forest.
