Greetings from Mithila Wildlife Trust (MWT)!
In our ongoing mission to connect communities with nature and foster environmental awareness, MWT recently organized an engaging Bird Watching Program at the beautiful Dhanusha Bird Park, located in Mithila Bihari Municipality.
🌱 Connecting Young Minds with Nature
The event was designed to immerse students in the world of birds — from identifying various species to observing their behavior and understanding the importance of bird conservation. The program served as a powerful reminder of how education and nature can come together to inspire and inform the next generation.
Under the able guidance of Mr. Sachin Kumar Singh and with the invaluable support of Mr. Subodh Acharya, the students had the opportunity to experience the wonders of bird life firsthand. Participants included students from Shree Mithila Secondary School (Kachuri) and all Teach For Nepal (TFN) fellows of Mithila Bihari Municipality.
👩🏫 Gratitude to Teachers and Fellows
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated teachers who encouraged their students to step out into the natural world, observe closely, and ask curious questions. Your inspiration made a lasting impact!
We are also deeply grateful to the Teach For Nepal fellows whose continued commitment to education and environmental awareness made this event possible and meaningful.

🕊️ Looking Ahead
At MWT, we believe that education is one of the strongest tools for conservation. By fostering a love and respect for nature early in life, we aim to build a generation of environmentally conscious citizens.
Let’s continue to celebrate, protect, and observe our feathered friends — not just today, but every day.
✨ Enjoy birding with MWT!
