“Every living being has an equal right to live. To survive, humans often go to great lengths—extents that animals never reach. Animals only wish to live in peace and safety. For them, the entire forest is their home.
Some time ago, a deer, either straying from its path or startled from the forest, ended up in the middle of Janakpur city. The Division Forest Office Janakpur and Mithila Wildlife Trust safely rescued the deer and kept it in quarantine for a few days at the Dhanusha Sub-Division Forest Office. During that period, the deer was kept under the supervision of a veterinary doctor. After a few days, it was released back into its natural habitat.
We, the Mithila Wildlife Trust family, express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the staff of the Division Forest Office, the Sub-Division Forest Office, and the Mithila Wildlife Trust, as well as to everyone who supported the rescue operation.
