Interaction Program with local communities for the conservation of DPF in all the twelve residential wards of Buffer Zone was started and in last two days we have covered two residential wards of twelve; Dharampur and Mangalpur. Inaugural Interaction program was held at Dharampur and all the residential were showing an complete positive attitude for the protection and development of DPF and Dhanusham. Function was inaugurated by DPF Forest Ranger Mr. Shankar Narayan Jha with his valuable words. Presided by Mr. Devnarayan Mandal, Chairman-MWT, in the presence of MWT team Mr Mavish Herp & Head- Wildlife Research, Mrs. Lintumol P.K- Scientific Officer, Mr. Suvin- Biologist, Mr Santhosh and Mukesh- Social mobilisers, guards of FD and villagers. As we are getting a positive result from all the residential wards , DPF was abandon because of lack of awareness and initiation program. Now as MWT and FD initiated all the programs for the protection of DPF, we can hope a better future for this dying youngest Protected Forest of Nepal.
