24 Hours Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Programmes

To reduce Human and Wildlife conflict and to protect the wildlife, wildlife rescue and rehabilitation programmes is operated 24×7 in and around Dhanusha district. It supports to conserve different species of avian and reptiles in the district.

Around 1,250 Snake Bite cases are recorded in Zonal Hospital, Janakpur every year. Most of the cases recorded are non-venomous snake bite cases.

Increased awareness level and easy identification of the snakes is the main aim of our Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation programmes.

Lacking identification is the main reason that people are killing wild animals within 5 minutes thinking all the snakes found around there home are venomous/poisonous.

It is also supporting us to protect the rare species of reptiles found in Nepal.
