DoF and MWT feels that these programmes have been resulting very well for the protection of the forest. Major agendas of the programmes were:

1. Prohibited zone for carrying arms & instruments in DPF,

2. Grazing in barren area instead of core zone of DPF and to find substitute instead of depending on this diminishing forest,

3. Complete restrictions of illegal tree logging inside DPF,

4. Restrictions in community made fire inside DPF,

5. Land encroachment etc.

The results of our continuous struggle since the appointment of Mr. Shankar Narayan Jha as Assistant Forest Officer at Dhanushadham Range Forest Office can be seen and felt by any of the person. It is an example of successful awareness programmes.

We have decided to continue such interaction programmes in each and every month in entire Buffer Zone of the forest.

INTERACTION PROGRAMS OF MWT & FD CREATES THE IMPORTANCE OF DPF AND ENVIRONMENT AMONG LOCAL COMMUNITY.

Interaction Program with local communities for the conservation of DPF in all the twelve residential wards of Buffer Zone was started and in last two days we have covered two residential wards of  twelve; Dharampur and Mangalpur. Inaugural Interaction program was held at Dharampur and all the residential were showing an complete positive attitude for the protection and development of DPF and Dhanusham. Function was inaugurated by DPF Forest Ranger Mr. Shankar Narayan Jha with his valuable words. Presided by Mr. Devnarayan Mandal, Chairman-MWT, in the presence of MWT team  Mr Mavish Herp & Head- Wildlife Research, Mrs. Lintumol P.K- Scientific Officer, Mr. Suvin- Biologist, Mr Santhosh and Mukesh- Social mobilisers, guards of FD and villagers. As we are getting a positive result from all the residential wards , DPF was abandon because of lack of awareness and initiation program.
